b) Encourage the development of ‘Pocket Gardens’ of various sizes and types across Selsey looked after by local communities.
c) Support ‘Guerrilla’ gardening in planters, around trees and in unused community areas.
d) Offer food growing courses to recipients of the foodbank and local people who wish to to develop sustainability, resilience and skills.
e) Enable teacher training and ongoing support to help local schools run their own gardening projects.
What's the name of your group?
What help do you need?
We would like local people to help volunteer at out project at The Bridge Youth Support Centre. Here we have a project called The Hidden Garden. We would also like to assist local people with any community gardening and food growing projects which they would like to develop near where they live.
We welcome donations of tools, equipment, seeds, bulbs, plants, wellingtons, plant pots and any other gardening items to help our project expand.
Revenue costs of £28,000 per year to enable a full-time coordinator to move the project forward.
